It’s the year 2024 and beyond. The former de-facto fundraising platform for startup fundraising - Angelist, has taken away key product features which renders the platform practically useless for startup fundraising. Angelist today, is purely meant to be a a management software, without the ability to connect to key investors if you don’t already have their contact info. Long gone, are the days where startups can find, browse and reach out to key investors based on crucial information such as sector, stage, shared connections, etc.
I proceeded to research and try 100+ alternative fundraising resources ranging from mailing list to platforms in search of a comprehensive, relevant, and user friendly source of data, and these are the 5 best resources today I would use as a startup founder to raise an angel or seed round.
